NYC Diary IV: Grand Central Terminal & New York Public Library

Last time I didn't have a chance to visit Public Library and Grand Central Terminal. I saw both places but didn't really spend time there since it was too cold to sit on the steps on the Public library.  This second time, I managed to visit both New York landmarks despite my tight schedule. Obviously, it's my business trip so I spend of my time working but if I finish work early and have some free time I will go out and fun, explore new places and try new food. Travel is another thing that I am really passionate about!

Grand Central Terminal One of the most iconic attractions in New York famous for its interior architecture.
Address: 89 E 42nd Street, New York 10017
New York Public Library is a beaux arts architecture style historical landmark (same style as the Paris Opera) with 2 lion statues at the entrance. It's located in midtown Manhattan.
Address: 5th Avenue, 42 street, New York

Outfit details:
Bryant Park at night. It located just behind New York Library. FYI: In case you are planning a day trip to explore New York landmarks around 5th Avenue. Times Square and Rockafeller Center are in walking distance from the Public Library and Bryant Park.
 Have a great day!

Exclusive Lunch Set at TWG, The Emporium

TWG known for its premium collection of tea and delicious bakery. For me it is more like a place where you and your friends come to have a nice afternoon in elegant atmosphere. I have tried their afternoon tea set before. This was my first time having 3 courses set lunch at TWG Salon & Boutique the Emporium and I have only good things to say about it. Quality of the food and taste are beyond my expectation. All dishes were fresh and flavorful, and beautifully presented with excellent service and well trained staff. Everything is great that I have nothing to complain  about...so I'll give it 5/5.
Starter Rocketeer Salad: Rocket and frisee salad tossed in green beauty tea infused vinaigrette served with quick seared tuna accompanied by fried tuna belly in fillo paper
Main Course Pan Seared Seabass: Fillet of sea bass accompanied by a truffle artichokes puree and garden vegetable served with clams in white wine and a sencha prestige infused clam sauce
Main Course Carre D'Agneau: Herb roasted, rack of lamb accompanied by sauteed new potatoes, carrots and pea pod, drizzled with morrocan mint tea infused sauce.
Dessert Sakura Vacherin: Vanilla bourbon tea ice cream and sakura sakura tea sorbet encased in frozen meringue topped with fresh berries

NYC Diary Part III: DVF SS16 Runway Report

After a morning walk in central park. We headed back to the hotel to get ready for DVF fashion show. Yes, it's time for me to work and I got to spring studio early to welcome local press and guests who coming to the show

I was truly happy that I can wear something light and comfy this time since the weather was so much better than last February (There's a snow strom). I was donning this DVF weightless boho dress. What better way to accessorize the boho chic look, than a nice fringe bag and stacking jewelry. My choices are gold tone rings, bangles, necklaces, and choker to add an edge of individuality and luxe vibe.

Outfit details:
I bought my twin sister along as she also into fashion and really want to experience the cool vibes of New York fashion week. I can tell she's enjoying every bit of it!

I mean no offense but some of New York street style photographers are very demanding. These guys are totally diffrent from other street style photographers I've ever experienced. They will direct you to do this and do that to the point that I felt as if I was in the middle of editorial shoot which is a little uncomfortable, since it takes longer than I thought and I didn't have much time. So I was like I am so sorry guys, I really need to go I am sure you've got loads of great pictures...
The atmosphere outside Spring studio just before the show starts.

DVF SS16 FORTUNA
Inspiration: The collection is inspired by the painting of ancient roman godess of luck "Fortuna". DVF said it's a celebration of women, nature, beauty, freedom, and individuality.

Hair and makeup: "70s tropical beauty". Models walking down the runway wearing blue and green eye makeup and big waves with fresh flower in their hair.
Clothes: Highlights from the collection include floral patchwork dresses in different lengths. Also, suit seperate numbers including printed blazers, leather jacket, long pants and shorts. These pieces are chic, wearable and perfect for everyday wear.

Knowing that some of the images quality are not the best, but I just want you to see the actual vibes from the real runway. It's so lively and fun!
